When buying, selling, inheriting or managing real estate, it is important that spatial data on your properties is recorded in the real estate cadastre and accurately reflects the actual situation on the ground.
The real estate cadastre is the national register of data on the location, shape, physical and other characteristics of land parcels, buildings and parts of buildings. It reflects the actual state of real estate. The data in the real estate cadastre provides information on the shape and size of parcels, buildings and parts of buildings, as well as their location. It serves as a basis for spatial management policy, real estate valuation and taxation, and the management of transport and utility infrastructure, among other purposes.
The cadastral map (also known as a map copy) graphically shows parcel boundaries with parcel numbers and the floor plans of buildings.
Through the real estate registration procedure, we record data on individual properties in the real estate cadastre. To ensure that the real estate cadastre accurately reflects the actual state of properties on the ground, it is important to keep track of changes to your properties over time.
